Experience
I have been working for a US law firm here in Milan for one year and am now reassessing other career paths. My role in this firm primarily involved legal work in international arbitration, corporate & commercial law and banking & finance. However, as one of only two native English speakers in this firm, I was also required to check and correct all legal documentation and correspondence produced in English. This involved explaining complex English language concepts to other staff at the firm, specifically in relation to legal and business English. I therefore have a good level of experience in teaching people how to actually work in professional business English, and explaining these concepts with a clear, English accent. Other business areas I have worked in include Tax & Accounting, Business Consultancy, Criminal Law and Banking. I can therefore focus on building an individual's English capabilities in any of these areas, including business in general.
