Private tutor in Milano, Italy

Education

Currently I am doing my PhD in electrical engineering in Politecnico Di Milano. I am quite good at Mathematics and Physics. I am definitely not bad at chemistry. I am also good at Electrical engineering related subjects considering I am doing my PhD in this. For some reason, I am not able to upload my picture on this site. I did my Bachelors degree in electrical engineering in Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Dhanbad. For this, I had to place almost in the top 0.5 percent in the entire country by giving the national level entrance exam, IIT-JEE, which is considered one of the toughest exams in the world and consists of advanced questions from Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry. Later, I joined Politecnico Di Milano for my Masters in electrical engineering and then my PhD. Feel free to contact me at hvardhana3@live.com.

Experience

I have always been quite passionate about teaching. In fact, my goal after PhD is to get a position as a professor in the university. I have been tutoring since I was in my Bachelors. I have tutored my brother and cousins since they were young. While I was doing my Bachelors, I was a part of a non-profit organization and I used to tutor the underprivileged students in Mathematics in the city. Later, during my Masters, I started helping out my fellow masters students with the courses. Currently in my PhD, I co-teach two Masters level courses in Electrical Engineering by helping the professors in the laboratory classes and occasionally teaching the theory classes as well. I am also actively involved in tutoring the Masters degree course students for the subject of Digital Signal Processing. I have a score of 328/340 in GRE and 112/120 in TOEFL. As an Engineer, I am quite good in Mathematics and Physics. I am also good in English and logical reasoning which is evident from my GRE and TOEFL scores. My approach to tutoring is to teach the students starting from the basics. Once the fundamentals are clear to the student and they are strongly rooted in them, the advanced concepts become much easier to understand. My philosophy is that whatever you are studying or doing, always know the reason behind it. Once you know the reason or the phenomenon behind something, you will never forget the concept or the formula. And so far, in my years of experience tutoring, this approach of tutoring has definitely been quite effective.
