Services offered: 1) English writing editing & critique: • I will assist you in making your writings seem natural to native speakers. This can include editing basic components like spelling and grammar, but will also include more complicated aspects like sentence structure, word usage, phrasing, colloquialisms and expressions, and more. Please not that I am an American speaker, so I will help you make your writing look like that of an American. Through this process I will also offer instruction on speaking and reading English. I can work on writing of any kind whatsoever. 2) English language tutoring (speaking only) 3) English language tutoring (reading only) • I can also offer tutoring exclusively for speaking and reading English. However, I find it best to build upon the skills you already have developed—this is easiest to do through writing critique. ~Qualifications~ English Mother Tongue speaker from the United States (Minnesota) with a neutral/General American accent ACT scores: 34/36 English 33/36 Reading 10/12 Writing Experience writing academic papers, fiction and nonfiction literature Experience editing and critiquing essays, resumes, CVs, theses, fiction and nonfiction literature, among other writings I would like to be a tutor so I can help others improve their skills—the world is a better place when we can help each other. I think the best way to learn a language is through continual usage and practice with a native speaker. It might seem easy to learn a language from a textbook, or from an app, but unless you train your brain the natural way, it is harder to make an impact. If you want to improve your English, you can!
