I am a native English speaker. I have a TEFL certificate in teaching English as a foreign language. I have spent the past two summers in Italy teaching English to native Italian speakers. I believe the only way you can fully learn a language is by speaking it. My teaching style focuses on trying to get my students to speak as much English as possible. If you feel comfortable speaking a language it makes it easier for you to learn. I also have experience in proofreading and correcting student essays and professional documents.
